Award for Lifetime Contribution to Leadership Studies

In February 2005 the Centre for Leadership Studies, Hewitt Associates and Honda hosted an event to commemorate the first Award for Lifetime Contribution to Leadership Studies. This award will be made every two years to recognise a scholar, activist, writer or consultant who has made a substantial and sustained contribution to our understanding and appreciation of leadership.

John Adair was the recipient of the inaugural award on 23 February 2005. John is internationally recognised as a leadership and management guru and over two million people world-wide have participated in the Action-Centred Leadership training approach he pioneered. He is also the world’s first Professor of Leadership Studies. For more information on John, look at his website: www.johnadair.co.uk, or click here to find out more about the award.

In addition to the award ceremony, a number of related activities and events will take place during 2005. More details about these will follow.
